This no- storage type water heater provides a large range of benefits to both the consumer and the environment. The foremost advantage of this tank less unit is that it avoids continuous flow of hot water and avail you the warm or hot water when it is required. Thus, it eliminates energy lost during standby operation.

Such on demand water heaters are much more energy efficient as compared to storage tank type water heaters. Also, the lifespan of tank less heaters is about 20 years which is nearly twice of their counterparts.

Their easy installation and virtually no maintenance makes it the more suitable option. Not only this, the system consumes a very little space as they can be mounted on walls.

But tank less water heater gives you a way by which you can save 50% of the energy that is consumed in storage type water heaters. Some copper and brass rods present in tank less units make the device active when you open the hot water tap. The device remains deactivated for rest of the time.

The most basic units consists of an electric or a gas burner surrounded by flowing water. So, you have basically two types of tank less water heaters. Electric water heaters consists of two heating elements, one at the top and the other at the bottom side. These are connected to the thermostats. Electric water heaters are very small and elegant. They are capable of supplying cold water as well. Moreover it consists of two to four level of temperature control.

Next type of water heater is the gas water heater. A gas burner is provided in the unit that gets triggered only when you open the hot water tap. Because as you do so, the heater draws cold water and provide you hot water in turn.
